The Snail Mail Simulator lets you write a letter, seal it, and dispatch it into a fully certified postal pipeline, complete with live tracking of exactly how far it has gotten and exactly how tired the person carrying it has become.
Every letter is assigned its own snail, its own route, and its own set of certified metrics, none of which are shared with any other letter, ever.
Postal Worker Fatigue is measured continuously from the moment a letter departs. It has never, in the recorded history of the Bureau, gone down.
Delivery estimates are recalculated on a rolling basis using current fatigue, weather, and the general vibe of the route. Estimates are certified accurate at the moment they are issued, and again a moment later when they change.
Every letter generates its own live log of checkpoints, pauses, minor pebble-related incidents, and re-weighings. No two letters see the exact same sequence of events, though most of them see a nap.
The log is derived entirely from how long the letter has been traveling, which means it survives page refreshes, browser restarts, and short bouts of doubt about whether any of this is really happening.
